Do you provide Ice Cream Vending Machine?
Answer: We don’t offer vending machines that sells ice cream. However, we do have Gourmet Vending Machine that sells hot meals and sandwich.
How do I know which types of vending machines fits my requirement to sell the desire products?
Answer: Before purchasing a vending machine, Vend Solution’s representative will discuss the criteria of your products and the representative will then provide you further suggestions on types of vending machine you need.
How are Cashless System and Telemetry System secured?
Answer: Both Cashless System and Telemetry System data are 100% private and confidential. Vend Solution’s Technician Team will always take care of the system backend to ensure no hackers can enter the Cashless System and Telemetry System.
What is Card Payment and E-Wallet Payment?
Answer: Card Payment is referring to Visa, Master, Mydebit where it requires customer to pay by card, while, E-Wallet Payment is referring to QR Code payment which customer requires to scan QR Code in order to purchase items.
Which Cashless System works the best? Card Payment or E-Wallet Payment and why?
Answer: As for vending machine business, E-Wallet Payment works the best for Cashless System. Since 2020, using QR Code to make a payment have become a trend. The E-Wallet payment not only is creating new social norm but also bring convenience to customers when choosing a payment method.
Why should I use Cashless System than Cash and Coin System?
Answer: As the technology improved, there are more population preferred to make a payment through cashless system than cash and coin. Vending Machine is a state-of-the-art invention, Vend Solution would recommend customer to purchase Cashless System to the vending machine than having Cash and Coin mechanism.
Do I really need a Telemetry System?
Answer: Yes. It is for the data analysis purpose. The Telemetry System demonstrates the daily sales report and provides data analysis on every day sales. As a result, you can monitor your vending machines easily with the data and easily to improve current sales.
What is the benefit of using Telemetry System? How does it work?
Answer: Telemetry System is a system that generates sales data analysis from vending machines. There are three benefits of using Telemetry System. First, work efficiency. It increases the company’s operational efficiencies by data analysis provided in the system. Second, time efficiency. With the Telemetry System, every customer is able to having insight about the inventory and be able to make the right decisions – spending less time on inventory control and reducing understock and/or overstock. Third, accounting efficiency. A quick access to reports and sales transaction statement with the Telemetry System. The data analysis in Telemetry System has integration with the accounting software and it has fewer data errors.
Can I just buy Cashless System without Telemetry System?
Answer: Yes, you can. The Cashless System functions and operates normally even though there is no Telemetry System. As mentioned in Question 13, Telemetry System is a system that generates sales data analysis from vending machines. As a result, without Telemetry System, you will not be able to have an insight about your inventory and unable to make the right decision when it comes to inventory control.
Are there any extra charges for applying Card Payment and E-Wallet Payment?
Answer: Yes, there is for Card Payment – TNG Card. The TNG company will collect RM 50 deposit for each account.
Why can't I use Card Payment and E-Wallet Payment on the same Cashless Reader?
Answer: You can’t use card payment and e-wallet payment on the cashless reader due to the program. Card Payment is using card to make a payment, while, E-wallet payment is using QR code to make a payment. The cashless reader is designed separately for both card and QR code payment.
Vending Machine Stock and Refill FAQ:
How often do I need to stock up my vending machine?
Answer: Vend Solution recommended you to stock up the vending machine at least 2-3 times a week to ensure that the vending machine business is always ready.
Where do I buy my stock?
Answer: Please ask Vend Solution’s representative for the information.
What is the minimum capital for buying stock?
Answer: It usually start around RM 5,000 for a quality unit.
Vending Machine Electricity FAQ:

What type of electrical outlet do I need for the vending machines?
Answer: As long as you have a standard 3-prong outlet you should be good to go! Most vending machines run on 115 volts at 10-12 amps.
How much electricity do Can Drink, Snack, Dessert and Gourmet Machines use?
Answer: Most vending machines use about 4-6 kWh/day as long as it’s in a climate-controlled environment. You can calculate how much it costs to run a vending machine by using this figure and multiplying by your electricity rate on your utility bill. The machines are very efficient and most businesses won’t notice a material increase in their utility bill.

What if my vending machine is vandalised?
Answer: If your vending machine is vandalised, you might need to reconsider your location. Choosing the best location for vending machines can prevent vandalism.

Answer: It depends on you. Most vending machine is not equipped with cameras. Having indoor CCTV not only is preventing any damages to vending machine but also generates data on facial recognition system. This system is to recognise repeat customers for purpose of marketing the machines items to those individuals based on their buying habits.
How to create a good impression to customers through my vending machine?
Answer: First, use pricing to promote products. Vending machines can be set to various prices. A business may offer its customers and/or employees a special monthly low price on a particular type of coffee drink such as a latte. Each month, signage on the machine can promote a different special drink or snack of the month. Second, sufficient change. Answer: Vend Solution do not offer vending machines for rent.
Do I need a license for owning vending machines?
Answer: You do not need a license for owning vending machines. However, if you are considering putting a vending machine in a public space, you will mostly need some kind of legal agreement with who ever control that public space. For example, if you are considering putting up a Can Drink Vending Machine outside/inside of your friend’s shop, you need to get your friend’s approval as your own record in order to operate the vending business there.
What if I need installment for buying a vending machine?
Answer: You need to visit Leasing Company for more details. Vend Solution do not provide installment services.
Vending Machine Warranty and Services FAQ:

Answer: Mostly in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
How are refunds and repairs handled?
Answer: Should you have a repair issue our customer service team is here to help. You can contact us via email or call us 24/7 to report the problem, and we will make sure it is resolved. Most repairs are taken care of within 3-5 business days depending on the issue. Refunds are generally not allowed.
Can I extend my warranty?
Answer: No. Vend Solution do not offer warranty package after 12-month warranty. There will be on-site service with a RM 30 service charges per vending machine. If your service requires Technician Team, there would be an extra charge and any consumable parts replace/repair will also be borne by customers.
Will I receive any bill/warranty card for having a vending machine?
Answer: Vend Solution will issue the quotation including the warranty policy, thus, there is no warranty card for having a vending machine. Besides, Vend Solution also will issue an official invoice for purchasing vending machine.

How long does it take to payback a vending machine?
Answer: It usually take 12 months to payback a vending machine.
What is the capital to set up vending machine business?
Answer: It would take up to RM 30,000 – RM 60,000 to set up a vending machine business. This price range is included a vending machine price, cashless system, telemetry system and stocks.
How do I know my current location vending machine is a good business?

If I want to set up a vending machine somewhere, do I have to pay someone, and if so, how much? Can I set up a vending machine anywhere?
Answer: If it’s on private property, you will need permission from the property owner. If it’s in say, a public park, you will need permission from whoever’s in charge of it – likely a local government.
